German Embassy

The German Embassy is established on the compound of the EU in Juba.

The concept of the building is based on the traditional colonial house style constructed in the 1930’s in Southern Sudan. Whilst respecting this historic aesthetic component, the design promotes the aspect of natural air-conditioning. A framed veranda provides constant shade to the building. The suspended roof construction of the hall allows a constant airflow, resulting in comfortable natural cooling.

The hall will be used for larger scale meetings or events.
